Born and raised on Maui, Garfield King is a true waterman and an experienced kiteboarder. With nine years of experience, Gar’s style is radical, smooth and exciting to watch, and he excels in all aspects of the sport. Some of his favorite moves are unhooked kite loops, and riding waves. In competition, Gar has earned 2nd place in the 2004 Maui Kitefest, 5th place in the 2005 Velocity Games, and three consecutive 17th places in the 04, 05, and 06 RedBull King of the Air competitions.
